Paper Goods Fest - logo is animated, switching back and forth between two different styles

Where

Container Brewing – 1216 Franklin St, Vancouver

When

Saturday, July 26 | 12:30pm → 4:30pm

Free to attend!

Something's brewing — and it’s more than just beer.

Join us for Paper Goods Fest, a pop-up paper party hosted by happenstance. We’re taking over Container’s upstairs lounge for one afternoon only to celebrate all things printed, folded, sticker-y, and zine-y.

Browse one-of-a-kind goodies, connect with local artists, or make something weird and wonderful yourself.

The Vibe

  • Artist tables packed with zines, stickers, riso prints & more
  • DIY table where you can make your own zine, collage, or paper work-of-art
  • Container Brewing’s best on tap
  • Admission is free, just show up and enjoy!

Venue and Accessibility

✦ Masks encouraged

Visitors will be encouraged to bring their masks to make it welcoming for more people. You will have to pass through the pub downstairs to reach the upstairs area which is generally unmasked.

✦ Parking

There is 2-hour street parking along Franklin St and Vernon Dr.

✦ Accessibility/Location

Paper Goods Fest will take place on the upper floor of Container Brewing, which is only accessible by stairs — unfortunately there is no elevator access. There is an accessible washroom on the first floor, and a standard washroom on the second floor where the market is taking place.

There is also an outdoor space with picnic tables where you can enjoy a brew or a zine!

✦ Other considerations

Heat: The upstairs lounge can get hot in the summer, especially in the afternoon. We will do our best to keep the temperature reasonable!

Noise: This is a brewery. It can also get loud with overlapping conversations and sound bouncing in the space.

✦ Is this event kid-friendly?

Yes! It’s casual, creative, and welcoming.

✦ Is this event pet-friendly?

Pets are unfortunately not allowed in the upstairs room.
